4th Annual "Simply Healthy " Wellness Fair and Simply Living Expo Coming Together

The 4th Annual "Simply Healthy: Creating Sustainable Communities" Simply Living Fair and Wellness Expo is set to take place November 12-14th, 2009. This years keynote presenter is Diana Leafe Christian, Editor of Communities Magazine and author of "Creating a Life Together: Practicle Tools to Grow Ecovillages and Intentional Communities" and" Finding Community: How to Join an Ecovillage or Intentional Community". The event creates an opportunity for Bloomington and nearby areas to work together as we share and examine ideas and resources that can be nurtured to create healthy, sustainable "green lifestyles". It is a goal of Simply Healthy Conveners to educate and inspire through the exploration of some of the many possibilities available locally and beyond that can be utilized to support becoming healthier, more sustainable communities.

This year's focus is on "Living Simply Well, Community Building, Eating Local and Eating Healing Meals". Activities feature workshops, speakers, exhibitions, the 2nd annual Local Food Dinner prepared by Middle Way Food Works,a full service catering business owned by Middle Way House, a Community Conversation with Diana Leafe Christian, Lucille Bertuccio, of the Center for Sustainable Living, Marcia Veldman, Farmers Market Director and other community leaders will be moderated by Marti Crouch, a consultant on the relationships between biotechnology, agriculture and the environment. Other events include activities for children and a Healing Sound Concert presenting a variety of musical talents, poetry and storytelling!

Everyone who participates in this event, wether a presenter, advertiser or sponsor, does so to help their community move toward a greater degree of health, stability and wellbeing. "Simply Healthy" is a benefit to present populations planting seeds to be nurtured as gifts for generations to come.
